Crochet Baby Blanket

I'm still here and no sign of baby! At least I've finally got my camera back so I can post pictures of some of the things I've been making.

The first thing I made for baby was this crochet blanket.....

.....The pattern came free with the yarn (Sirdar Snuggly DK) when I bought it in John Lewis. It was really simple to make and it's lovely and snuggly and soft. It's strange to think that in a few days there will be a little baby wrapped up inside it x x

Such an exciting time for you. Hold onto every moment as it's such a precious time too. I think the blanket looks gorgeous and always be special as you spent the time making it. Maybe it will become a family heirloom?
With very best wishes on the imminent arrival.

Wow this is lovely! You did such a good job! I do crafting, but not much knitting or any crocheting so I always admire seeing this stuff.

That's very pretty. I used to think the same things when I was waiting for my baby to be born. My MIL had made a lovely pastel blue blanket for him (we knew it was going to be a boy) and we kept on using it until he was over a year old (in his cot).

Your little blanket is lovely. I wish you all the best with the rest of your pregnancy and the birth. I am sure that you just cannot wait. My sister is due next week, she is getting really fed up now and just wants the baby to come out!! Lots of love to you, Linda x

Oh it's lovely!! I was 5 days over with Grace so I know that 'hurry up' feeling and the eagerness to meet your bub.

Thanks for tagging me in the post game - was fun to relive some of your old posts and I'll look forward to trawling back through mine x

Hi Sarah,
So horrible having to wait for the baby to arrive! Mine didn't want to come out either, he was nice and warm inside my tummy, but in the end he came, as will yours. Can't wait to see photos. Best of luck and enjoy you're little buby!!!
