Friday Photo

Thanks for all of your advice on my last post - I've spent this week re-organising my home so that it's much easier for me to get things done. It's made a big difference.

I still had time to sit down with a pot of tea and some biscuits and finish off some sewing I started almost a year ago!

Which picture do you prefer? As usual, fire away with your opinions and ideas for improvement. I don't know if I'm getting any better but it's certainly encouraging to read your thoughts.

It's cold, wet and stormy here in Perugia so I think I'll be having a weekend by the fireside with my knitting. Hope you have a cosy weekend.

I agree with Signe. I almost said the third one but after a bit I changed it to the second.

Have a wonderful weekend.

I like the second photo. It has a central point of interest - cookies. Their colour repeats in the background and the frame of the needlework. The atmosphere is soft and warm, which suggests the right emotional impact.

I like the first and second where the teapot s out of focus but clearly visible, and its clear that there is a sewing hoop on the right, all the items are close together too, which somehow works better.

The second pic is my favorite!!! What kind of tea and biscuits do yall drink/eat? I feel like that would be much better for me than a stiff pot of coffee!

Pretty blues - I like the composition of the 2nd pic too.

Interesting as we all seem to agree here that the second photo is the best:)

Hi Sarah, just came across your blog and wanted to tell you how much I've enjoyed it! I wish I was renovating an old house in Umbria, what a dream!
As far as the above pics, I like #3, I think it has the best composition.
Regards,
Julia
