One of my little obsessions is hooks with baskets and other pretty things hanging from them. These hooks were an anniversary present from my husband - he knows me so well!!

Glad you liked the cake recipe - as for a replacement for golden syrup, something like maple syrup would probably be ok as well, I think honey might be a bit sweet, it needs that richer flavour.
