7. Random Pretty Things
"The man is richest whose pleasures are cheapest"
Henry David Thoreau
I'm one of those lucky people who can be content with very little. Just a glimpse of something pretty and I can be overwhelmed with a feeling of contented happiness; blossom on the trees in Spring time, freshly laundered sheets on the bed, washing on the line blowing gently in the breeze, a bowl of ripe cherries newly picked from the garden............. I love these moments of pure joy that can come so suddenly and unexpectedly. Yesterday I sat looking at this bowl of cherries for such a long time and it made my heart sing!

The simple pleasure of life are so important, I could not agree with you more. Your cherry photos are so artistic and beautiful, mine when I publish them will be dull in comparison. Did you eat them all after you finished gazing?
I know what you mean. My friend and I can spend two hours in a cheese shop oo-hing and ahh-ing of beautiful cheese. That second photos of the cherries is brilliant., THe red is so intense.
Cherries are everywhere right now and I'm so excited! I can't go to the market or to a friend's house without a big bowl of cherries greeting me. It's wonderful!
