Things that Make me Happy Part Four

4. Children

Today was the last day of school for me which involved a few teary goodbyes with some of the children I've been teaching for the past 3 years. Next year they will move on to another teacher and I'll only see them occasionally around the school. This is a part of teaching that I'll never get used to. I love working with children and although at times I find my job exhausting and stressful it gives me a lot of satisfaction too. I'm already full of ideas for the next school year.

This is is where I spend my days singing the 'Hokey Cokey,' playing 'What time is it Mr Wolf?' painting, baking and generally having fun.

Have a good weekend everyone xx

The fact that the little ones were crying indicates you are a wonderful teacher. Enjoy your time off.

What a lovely classroom. I hope you enjoy your break, and that it goes well next school year with the new children you will have.

Your working environment looks modern, light and airy, much pleasanter than many I have seen.

Hi Sarah Elizabeth, I am back from Bali, and am really enjoying catching up on all your posts! I love how you have done one post each for your 'happy list', and you have written so beautifully about each thing. It's so great to learn a little more about you, and I think the photos of you and Matteo are lovely... you are such a cute couple!
Hope all the wedding plans are coming along..
